David Spence                          


David Spence has over 30 years experience within the Architecture profession. His diverse portfolio of work includes schools, country and coastal estates, adaptive re-use projects and unique commercial spaces throughout the northeast. Mr. Spence joined Windigo Architects in 1998 as a senior designer, then acquired ownership of the firm in 2005. As principal, Mr. Spence's leadership and perseverance towards creating well-crafted architecture from the initial design concept to installing the final details has earned him respect amongst his clients and peers. Mr. Spence has been a licensed architect since 1995 and holds licenses in NJ, NY, CT, MA, RI & FL.

When not designing, Mr. Spence enjoys his time at home in Maplewood with his family Mary and Tucker. He is also an avid sailor, racing his sailboat "Synergy" in Long Island Sound or along the Jersey shore. He is currently fleet captain of the local J105 fleet, founder and chair of the Manhattan Regatta - an offshore sailing event in NY Harbor.
