Project: Lake George Club
Location: Diamond Point, NY

Built in 1910 and designed by New York City architect Charles Peabody, the Lake George Club in Diamond Point, NY reflects the traditional Adirondack style of architecture in a charming lake-side setting. A considerable portion of the Club’s members arrive by boat for dinner and other social activities and their magnificently restored wooden power boats from the 20’s and 30’s are common sites at the Club’s docks.

The Club asked WINDIGO to consult on all improvements made to the building, its waterfront and grounds. The first phase of a four-phase renovation project involved the design of a new entrance and porte-cochere that would honor the integrity of the existing structure and its environment. Subsequent phases included the design of trophy cases, a wine cellar and outdoor dining areas.
