Eaglebrook Proposed Squash Courts

EAGLEBROOK PROPOSED SQUASH COURTS

When designing squash courts many enclose them, making the game experience contained as if playing in a basement. In contrast Windigo proposed a more open design for the courts, using a clerestory windows and opening the atrium directly in the middle of the proposed courts. Also, the use of wood structures for this central atrium space combined with a community seating area was intended to make the space bright and welcoming. As an added bonus, the positioning of the community sitting area is well-positioned for viewing the squash courts now lit with natural sunlight.
