LONG ISLAND CITY
North River’s Long Island City facility, a former industrial property, in addition to several commercial tenants, currently houses an extensive art storage facility. This large structure is undergoing progressive renovations to provide the secure and environmentally stable environment necessary to protect the valuable artwork stored there. Windigo has fostered a partnership with North River to provide the necessary expertise in designing and executing these renovations. In addition to the environmental challenges presented, Windigo has provided ongoing consultation in ensuring that safety regulations are met as the building transforms, no easy task in repurposing large industrial interior spaces.
