Windigo created this functional art installation as a creative solution to a common problem at an independent school. Lack of coat and bag hanger space created a chaotic situation in the corridors of classroom buildings, with students’ personal belongings piling up on benches and floors. Traditional single-row coathooks did not have the density to accommodate the need. This maple coathook wall, with many more rows available, solved this problem and created a dynamic art piece that changes as the students’ belongings come and go.
